The London Monopoly Board Project:  19 –  27 March 2009

The London Monopoly Board Project is a cross-curricular project involving all Lower School boys. The project will incorporate: photography, architecture, textiles, art, craft, design, history, movement and dance, science, ICT, research, drama, creative writing, design technology, mathematics and much more. It will begin on Thursday 19 March and continue throughout the last week of spring term. Each class will have its own location taken from The London Monopoly Board, which will form the basis for the project. The locations have been selected as follows:

3G       Community Chest (Bank of England and surrounding area)
3K       Piccadilly
3M       Whitehall
3S       Visiting Jail (Clink Prison Museum/London Dungeon)

We are excited by this project. We look forward to inspiring the boys and raising their awareness of various locations featured on The London Monopoly Board – locations rich in historical, artistic and cultural significance.
